About This Policy

This SMS Privacy Policy explains how SD Selfie Booth (“SD Selfie Booth,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and protects your mobile number and related information when you opt in to receive text messages from us. It supplements our main Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

How You Opt In

You consent to receive SMS messages from SD Selfie Booth when you:

• Submit a form on our website that includes your mobile number and an SMS consent checkbox or notice
• Text us first or reply to one of our messages indicating that you want to continue communicating by text
• Provide your mobile number during booking, by phone, or in person and agree to receive booking related text messages

You are not required to consent to receive text messages as a condition of receiving a quote or booking our services. You can always communicate with us by phone or email instead.

Types of Messages You May Receive

Once you opt in, the SMS messages you may receive from us include:

• Replies to inquiries you submit
• Quote follow ups and booking confirmations
• Event reminders and day of logistics
• Photo gallery delivery links and updates
• Account or service notices, such as changes to your booking or important service announcements

We do not send unsolicited marketing or promotional text messages to numbers that have not opted in.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. Around the time of your event, you may receive several messages in a short window (for example, confirmation, day before reminder, and gallery delivery). Outside of active bookings, you may receive few or no messages.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. SD Selfie Booth is not responsible for any charges from your carrier related to SMS messages you receive from us.

Supported Carriers

Our SMS service is generally available on all major U.S. mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to Opt Out (STOP)

You can stop receiving non essential SMS messages from us at any time by replying STOP to any of our messages. After you reply STOP, we will send a single confirmation message and you will not receive further marketing or non essential messages from us. We may still send transactional messages necessary to complete an active booking (for example, a gallery delivery link) unless you also ask us by email or phone to stop all SMS contact.

If you want to opt back in after stopping, sign up again through one of the methods described in “How You Opt In” above.

How We Use Your Mobile Information

We use your mobile number and SMS consent only to deliver the messages described in this policy and to maintain accurate records of your communications with us. We use service providers (such as our SMS platform and our gallery delivery provider) to send and route these messages on our behalf, under contracts that require them to handle your information consistent with this policy.

No Sharing for Marketing

We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your mobile number or SMS opt in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Mobile information and SMS opt in data are excluded from any information sharing with third parties for promotional or marketing reasons.

Data Retention

We retain your mobile number and SMS opt in records for as long as needed to deliver our services, maintain business and compliance records, and resolve any disputes. You can request deletion of your mobile information at any time as described in our Privacy Policy.

Children

Our SMS service is not intended for use by anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect mobile numbers from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with a mobile number, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this SMS Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of our SMS service after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
