The wedding photo booth your guests will actually use

A wedding photo booth lives or dies on whether your guests walk up to it. Attendant led setups feel like a stranger watching everyone pose. Our drop off selfie booth solves that: it's open, brightly lit, takes about three seconds to figure out, and there's no vendor lurking in your wedding photos.

Every San Diego wedding we cover, from intimate Coronado ceremonies to 200 guest receptions at The Prado, runs the same way. We deliver the booth, set it up before guests arrive, preload a personalized overlay with your names and wedding date, and quietly pick it up at the end. Your guests get text delivery of every photo, GIF, and boomerang. You get a private gallery within a couple days after the wedding with every shot.

How the booth fits into your wedding day

Cocktail hour

Most couples open the booth at the start of cocktail hour. It gives wandering guests something to do while you finish portraits and keeps the energy up before dinner.

Dinner break

Between courses, smaller groups like parents, bridal party, and out of town relatives cycle through for the most genuine shots of the night.

Open dance floor

Once dancing starts, the booth becomes the second dance floor. This is where the wild group shots happen: bridal party, college friends, late night cake smashes.

Matching the booth to your wedding aesthetic

We personalize a photo overlay for every wedding. You pick from our extensive overlay collection and we set it with your details: names, wedding date, a custom phrase, or whatever fits your day. No homework, no mood boards. Just tell us what you want on the overlay.

Backdrops are an optional $75 add on. If you want one, browse the full backdrop collection and pick the one that fits your venue. Take a look at the overlay collection while you're at it.

Wedding photo booth FAQs

How much does a wedding photo booth in San Diego cost?

Our wedding package starts at $395 for three hours of unlimited photos, GIFs, and boomerangs. Backdrops are an optional $75 add on from our backdrop collection. Reach out and we'll put together a quote for your event.

How much space does the booth need at our venue?

Plan on roughly 8 by 8 feet of floor space. The booth stands about 6 feet tall, so 8 foot ceilings are fine without a backdrop. Our backdrops are 8 by 8 feet, so they need a taller ceiling to fit. Battery packs are available for outdoor ceremonies, if requested and available.

Can the overlay match our wedding colors and monogram?

Yes. We personalize an overlay from our extensive overlay collection with details like your names, wedding date, and a custom phrase before the event.

When during the wedding is the best time to run the booth?

Most couples book the booth from the start of cocktail hour through the first hour of dancing. That covers the high energy moments and pulls guests onto the floor between dinner courses and the first dance.

Do you set up outdoors at beach or vineyard weddings?

Yes. We regularly set up at beachfront venues, vineyards in Temecula and Carmel Valley, and rooftop bars. We do need cover from direct sun and weather. A tent, patio, or covered terrace works perfectly.

How do guests get their photos?

Each guest enters their phone number at the booth and gets their photo, GIF, or boomerang via text. After the wedding, you receive a private online gallery with every shot taken.

How far in advance should we book?

San Diego wedding season (May through October) and the December holiday window book out fastest. We recommend reserving 4 to 8 months ahead for Saturday weddings. A $100 deposit holds your date.
